What is Facturae?

Facturae is the Spanish e-invoicing format, mandatory for suppliers to the Spanish public administration. It uses a proprietary XML format and invoices must be transmitted via the FACe platform (Punto General de Entrada de Facturas Electrónicas).

Obligation

Mandatory for all B2G invoices (to Spanish public administrations) since 2015. An extension to B2B is under discussion.
